Day 342 - Owen and Lights

I can not believe its day 342!!!! Wow. My picture for today was supposed to be of Owen and his stuffed Grinch. Well....you see how that turned out. :) Here's little man with the pretty lights behind him and that's about it!

Day 341 - Nightcap

Brrr, its cold! I think old man winter is officially here! Owen picked out this coffee creamer today. Its yummy!

Day 340 - Airplane Ornament

Every year I get Owen an ornament for Christmas. Its a special little gift just from mommy. Some day (a long time from now) I hope he to be able to give them all to him and hope he appreciates them as much as I now adore the little ornaments he has made me. It wasn't until I had a child, did I know how much you can love a little paper ornament. This is the one I got him this year. He loves it, and has been known to take it off the tree and fly it around. Hopefully its sturdy enough to make it through the season.

Day 339 - My dad

Who knew my dad could play the harmonica? Not me! Yesterday before heading back home, we had a family gathering at my cousins house in Madisonville. It was nice. We don't get to see them very much and I hope our little reunion can be the start of changing that.

Day 338 - Ms. Abby

We went to my moms house in Kentucky over the weekend. This is her baby, Abby. While pretty as can be, I'm not a fan of her. She's annoying. haha!

On Saturday night we had our annual girlfriends Christmas party. It was so fun to see most all of my dear friends. I sure miss having them live so close like the good ol days of college. I'm thankful we are all still tight all these years later and still get together a few times a year.

Day 336 - Oh Christmas Tree

I love to sit in a dark room, snuggled under a blanket with only the tree on. This is my view when I do this year. Love it.

Lastly, a note to self. On this particular night Owen fell asleep on the couch early for the sitter. Chris had a meeting and I had errands to run. When I got home I took these pictures and then wanted to attempt to get a pic of owen sleeping under the tree. Well....big mistake! He woke up and was still awake at 11:30 at night! So much for THAT idea.

Day 335 - I'm back!

Wow, it really stinks to have your charger break on you and both batteries be dead on your camera! Although some days I may not feel like taking pics, it stinks to not have the option. Last Wednesday my friend Courtney came over with her kiddos to take their Christmas pics. She brought her camera and luckily our chargers are the same so I was able to give one of my batteries a little boost. My new charger arrived later that day I think. I used her camera for the shoot and am still in awe that we were able to capture this image of the three of them smiling! Overall it was a pretty successful shoot. :)
