Day 122 - Day Two, The Rain Continues

Many parts of middle Tennessee are flooded. Homes are under water. Businesses are flooded. Hotels are flooded. Schools are flooded. This is horrible. I've never seen anything like this so close to home. Nashville has been declared a State of Emergency. Our weekend was spent inside mostly watching live coverage of this devestating storm or cartoons. By yesterday afternoon we all had cabin fever and needed to get out. We drove around our area and I took some shots of local homes that had rising water. What you see in these images is nothing compared to what is going on in other parts of the state.

Thank God the sun is shining today and our area can start drying out. I'm so thankful that my family and friends remain unharmed by this storm. My heart goes out to all those who have lost so much.
