Day 211 - Pizza Parlor Webiere'
I'm trying to make a conscious effort to not spend so much money eating out and at the grocery. I love you Kroger, but you are killing our bank account. I even did the bulk of my shopping at Aldi last Sunday, but there are some things I just can't skimp on. I've done really good this week and cooked dinner every night...6 nights in a row! Sadly, I admit, I think this is the first time thats happened in a loooong time. We love to order our Friday night pizza, but instead tonight we are making homemade pizza. Its in the oven now and gotta say I'm looking forward to it! How you like my Pizza Parlor Name? ha!
Day 210 - Peace
Day 209 - Swimming
Wednesday evening we went swimming in our neighbors pool. Well, the boys went swimming. I sat on the deck and watched and chatted with the neighbor. I'm so proud of how well O is doing in the water these days. He doggy paddled all the way across the entire pool almost to me. Go O! I never got him in swim lessons this year. I wonder if the Y is still offering them? I love the way the lighting was here and the way the water looks.

Day 208 - Mini-Me
So here it is. I took a picture of the old photo I have of myself, my mom & my dad on the lake when I was little. I don't know why I didn't think of doing this the other day. For your viewing pleasure...I introduce...myself as a child...
And...my son, myself and my husband now...
He's a mini-me if I do say so myself. I think its funny how both the men practically have their eyes closed, too. ha!

Day 207 - Funky Lil Find
Day 205 - Mi Familia
Finally. A pic of all three of us. I have a photo here at home of myself when I was around O's age with my mom and dad on a pontoon boat. I was trying to replicate that photo in this pic and plan to frame them side by side. I am not kidding, O and I look like twins almost in the photos! Its amazing. If I ever get it scanned in I will share it with you. This pic was taken on our final day on the lake. We had some friends down and we all rented a pontoon on Saturday for a day of fun in the sun. I'm throwing in another pic for laughs! No worries...the can wasn't open. :)

Day 203 - Family Day
We had such a fun day yesterday. Around mid-morning we decided to go check out this little antique store that I've been wanting to go in to look for props. I found a few things, not props, but a few things I liked for the house. ha! Go figure. There is an old-timey baby stroller there that may be cool, but its pretty rusted up and I'm not sure any parent would want to put their kid in it. ha! After that, we drove down to a place called Breakers and had lunch on the lake at a litte grill there. It was fun. So stinking HOT, but still fun. We are glad that we found that place and hope to go back some night for live music. After we got back to the lakehouse, and had an unsuccesful attempt at getting O to take a nap, we decided to go fishing/swimming. We took a little boat ride around the lake, swam and fished. It was a lot of fun. Here's some shots from our adventures today.

Day 202 - Sweet E
Day 201 - The Y Family
On Monday, we had some friends come visit us for a few nights at the lake. They have 3 kids all under 3! Their oldest is big buddies with O (only 4 days apart) and they also have 7 month twins. Wow is all I can say. I give them props. I sure couldn't do it! I caught this neat capture of all of them, each doing different things, some of them inside, some out! Little I was in the pool, little E was inside with his daddy looking out the window, and little N was sitting with her momma poolside. You can also see the reflection of the lake. I think this is so neat!
Day 199 - Sunset Dock
After a very busy weekend, our family headed back to the lake for our own family vacation. We got here around 5:30 Sunday night and I took this one on our trip down to the dock. Its been go go go and I honestly can't remember what we were even doing down there. I'm sure it had to do with fishing. My husband it eat up with fishing right now. I'm finally able to sit down and relax tonight...and get caught up on my blog! ;)
Day 198 - First Birthday Bash!
Oh me, I'm so behind. And I've missed some days. Saturday was my sweet niece's first birthday party! I've gotta say, this was the cutest little girl birthday party ever. My sister-in-law is so great at making decor and she made so much cute stuff for the party. Everything from the banner, to the cupcakes and cupcake toppers! I can't believe she is already a year old!

Day 192 - Favorite Things 5
Pasta. Oh pasta. You are my frenemy! I would swear somewhere deep in my bloodline there must be some Italian...although I really don't think there is. I love PASTA! I want to go to Italy just to eat. I could eat it everyday. That bad part is my belly/thighs/hips/arms also love pasta. Unfortunately it likes to stick to them. ;)
And here's a sweet share of my two favorite people yesterday before Church. Owen looks so big here! He's growing up on me.

Day 190 - Favorite Things 3
Oh boy. There are lots of favorites in the picture. The coffee station - my favorite coffee cup (The Copco from Bed Bath & Beyond re-usable coffee mug that looks like a store mug with pink band), My Keurig Coffee Maker (the best coffee maker ever), Vanilla Caramel Creamer (I'm totally addicted), the jar of coffee that is my favorite of the store brands (Maxwell House Master Blend), and the backsplash and countertop. I like a lot of things in the pic, clearly. I'm a huge coffee drinker. Sometimes I start thinking about my morning cup of joe the night before and get excited. I didn't get enough this morning and am now thinking about it. I need to get my teeth whitened. ;)
Day 189 - Favorite Things 2
My Pandora Bracelet. Chris gave this to me this past Christmas and I just love it. What is so nice about it is 1-you can pick out charms that represent something special to you. 2 - No two bracelets are the same. 3 - the store we get most of the beads from has a wishlist. I simply go in and pick out some of my favorite things and hubby can go shop off the list. Easy cheesy for him.
I'll give you a rundown of my current beads and what they represent, from left to right.
1-I think this one is called a love knot
2-silver bead with Owen's birtstone dangling from it
3-The Bible
4-Clasp-these are used to seperate the bracelet into 3 sections so the beads don't slide all around. This one is silver with a dot of gold on top. There's another one on here as well.
5-The letter C, for my husband Chris
6-Birthstone bead, to represent my birthstone the diamond, but this one is a CZ.
7-The letter O, for my son Owen
8-Glass bead with turquoise dots. One of my favorite colors. I used a gift card given to me by my great friend to buy this one. I think of her when I look at this one.
9-Cupcake, a gift from Chris and O for me on my birthday. Has a dot of gold on the top. Cupcakes remind me of O's first birthday party. I made about 70 cupcakes all by myself!
10-Happy Fish-this is my newest bead. I got it last week while we were in Murray visitng at the Lake. It represents fun times at the lake with family and, of course, fishing. Owen named this fish Milly (from the show Team UmiZoomi).
11-Another clasp.
That's all I have for now! Still plenty of room to customize and add memories to.

Day 188 - Favorite Things 1
I'm lacking inspiration, so for the next week I will be doing a "My Favorite Things" daily post. One of my favorite things is my bathtub.
I could spend 45 minutes to an hour in here when I get the chance...which isn't nearly enough. One of the reasons I love it so much is this...
Yes. That's a tv. I'm a tv junkie and what better way to relax than take a nice hot bath and watch one of your favorite shows?!? Maybe throw in a beverage of choice. Owen has taken over my bathtub for the past 6 months or so. I've moved him back to his tub and think I'm going to take back over my domain.
